MEET OUR COACHES

Prior to joining Orangetheory Fitness in 2013, Elizabeth spent almost 5 years as a regional group fitness manager for Gold's Gym Houston.

She began leading group fitness classes in 2007 and has since delivered thousands of classes in many styles and formats.

She is a certified Les Mills™ instructor and E-RYT 200 yoga teacher. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Public Relations and B.S. in Spanish Language.

Elizabeth has always loved the energy, enthusiasm and motivation of working out in a group setting. When she is not inspiring fitness, you will find her running after her four kids ages 2-7.

Lorie Fowler comes to Orangetheory Fitness with 23 years of personal training experience. She is certified through PFIT and NASM, and is also a practical examiner and instructor for the PFIT certification program.  Previously, Lorie was the Health and Wellness Director for Fort Bend Area Retarded Citizens and a trainer for the Houston Aeros Hockey Team. Lorie teaches at the Sugar Land and San Felipe-Tanglewood studios. 

 

Laura received her Bachelors in Exercise Science from Texas State University in 2010. She's been in the fitness industry for almost 8 years beginning in college, teaching group exercise classes. Laura has been in corporate fitness most of her career with her most recent being the Group Exercise Manager at BP Oil and Gas for the last 3 years. She began as a member this year and immediately decided that she wanted to be apart of the Orangetheory family! Laura is personal trainer certified through Cooper Aerobics and also holds AFFA, TurboKick, First Aid and CPR/AED certifications.

HEART MONITORED TRAINING

 

Backed by the science of post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), our heart-rate monitored training is designed to keep heart rates in a target zone that stimulates metabolism and increases energy. Our clients burn an estimated 500 to 1000 calories per workout. We are 5 zone heart-rate interval training.

COACH SUPPORT

 

Working out in a group provides accountability and structure to help achieve fitness goals. You are more likely to get a great workout and better results from the well-rounded movements and pace direction you get in a group setting. The session motivates each other to pick up the pace and reach beyond plateaus. People who workout in groups stick to their goals more consistently than those that workout alone.
